  • Purim -- Commemorate Jews being saved from Haman

  • Passover -- Retell the story of our Exodus from Egypt

  • Yom HaShoah -- Holocaust Remembrance Day

  • Yom HaZikaron -- Israel Memorial Day

  • Yom HaAtzmaut -- Israel Independence Day

  • Lag BaOmer -- 33rd day of the Omer

  • Shavuot -- Commemorate receiving the Torah at Mt. Sinai

  • Tishah B'Av -- Mourning the destruction of both ancient                                     Temples in Jerusalem
